Zylka was born in Warren, Ohio. He is of Russian and Ukrainian decent. Zylka attended the University of Toleda and began his landed his first guest appearance on 90210 in 2008. He also had recurring roles in Everybody Hates Chris, Hannah Montana, Cougar Town and Zeke and Luther.
